Salle des Fêtes du Grand Parc
The Salle des Fêtes is an atypical cultural facility, both a memorable concert hall and a central place of sociability and conviviality in the Grand Parc district. Over three decades, this flagship venue for the musical and socio-cultural life of Bordeaux has seen many musical legends, including: The Cure, Iggy Pop, Metallica, The Stranglers, Texas, Joe Jackson, The Ramones, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Téléphone, Rita Mitsouko and accompanied the beginnings of several young bands such as Noir Désir.
The rehabilitation work lasted two years.
Equipped with multiple spaces (entrance hall, stage, bleachers, forecourt...), the Salle des Fêtes can host professional shows (600 to 1200 seats), while preserving the mix of uses, whether cultural, associative, family or school.
