Connect is the first international festival dedicated to skateboard culture and its relationship with urban planning, highlighting its cultural and artistic aspects. Skateboarding and its culture transcend mere leisure activities to become powerful tools for tackling societal issues while fostering social ties.
Exhibitions, conferences, previews, skateable sculptures and city practices will all be on show at the Connect festival this autumn in Bordeaux, with the presence of international figures from skate culture, supporting the significant move to integrate skateboarding into the urban development of the City of Bordeaux.
