Château Siran

Best Of Wine Tourism, Vignobles et découvertes

Château Siran has left an indelible mark on the history of the Margaux terroir. For the last 150 years, the estate has belonged to the same family, who know every plot of land and every stone in the chateau's walls like the backs of their hands. This is the region's oldest surviving family property.

In the 19th century, the Miailhe family acquired the Labarde-based property from the Comte and Comtesse de Toulouse-Lautrec (grand-parents to the painter).

Ever since, the chateau has been the family's pride and joy: its 25 hectares are cultivated with precise care and attention, to create characteristically fine and forceful Margaux vintages.
Before taking the opportunity to taste the estate's marvellous wines, visitors are invited to discover the estate's antique wooden vats, as well as the unique "Collection Cellar" with more than 300 objects wine connection.

In 2017 Château Siran was awarded during the Best of Wine Tourism competition in the Art & Culture category for its original collections.
