Château de La Rivière
Castle build in 1577 by Gaston de l'Isle on the remains of a defence built by Charlemagne. Completed during the Renaissance, it has been restored in the 19th century by Viollet le Duc. Historical place, but also wine producing estate (60 hectareas vineyard), its 3 hectareas underground wine-cellar shelter more than 1000 barrels. 5 bedrooms with shower rooms and wc in the Renaissance wing. The breakfast can be served in the former castle kitchen or on the terrace. Swimming pool and tennis available. Park with view over the Dordogne valley.
