Château Lanessan
Looking for fresh air and a dash of authenticity « à la médocaine », come and discover a property of 380 hectares, built in the heart of Haut Médoc area, bordering on Saint Julien appellation and known for its 19th century architecture, designed by the famous architect from Bordeaux, Henri Duphot.
Along the way, it is not one but two « châteaux » that are here for your delight : Château Lachesnaye and Château Lanessan.
Its family history tied to a beautiful love for horses through the old stable known as « Musée du Cheval », its wines of famous renown and its unique atmosphere, shall give you a taste of grandeur embarking you on this beautiful journey to figure out how this « outsider », forgotten by the official classification of 1855 is still to this day worthy the best.
The Château Lanessan offers a journey out of time, within the walls of the old stable, to the discovery of the family’s coaches, housing a complete saddlery and expresses luxury with their iconic manger made out of marble.
During guided tours , themed tastings and workshops (making your own cross-blending, experiencing the evolution of 3 vintages, tasting directly from the barrel) you will enjoy our wines, all made in an environmentally sustainable way.
