Accessible route : The wood of the peugue springs
Come and discover this 113-hectare natural site, one of the largest wooded areas in the Bordeaux metropolitan area. The site offers for walkers fitness trails, discovery paths, cycling paths, horse riding itineraries, a lake, a wildlife observation point and play and picnic areas. The trail has been awarded the Tourism & Handicap label (hearing, mental and motor disabilities).

Steps
At the exit of the car park, go straight on. At the crossroads, at the GR marker, turn right onto the main path to walk along the lake. It was created during the rehabilitation of the Peugue springs woods in 1998. This 2.5 hectare lake was created to use the rainwater harvesting bassin of the municipal facilities near the "Club of the Princes" housing estate.
At the end of the driveway, turn immediately left and continue straight ahead.
This riding school and pony club is open all week from 9am to 7pm (opening hours may vary on Sundays).
When you reach an intersection near the riding school, turn left. Warning : Roots are on the way.
It offers a direct view on the water body's the fauna and flora. You will see some different fish and amphibians.
Then turn right and continue straight ahead. Cross the second wooden bridge on the right to pass a playground. Go straight on at the intersection. Warning : The path is a little less smooth. Walk along the lake again and turn right to get back to the starting point.
